About The Property And Accessibility
Our parking lot has two handicapped parking spaces.
Our lobby/check in area is wheelchair accessible.
Our breakfast area is equipped with a wheelchair ramp.
Our fishing pier is not wheelchair accessible.
Our designated smoking area is not wheelchair accessible.
Our swimming pool is equipped with an ADA approved chair lift.
Our Guest Laundry area has a 1” step up.
All property signs are in braille.
We can accommodate many disabilities, however we are actively engaged in a plan that will provide full accessibility to all areas. Our staff is on property 24/7 to assist all guests upon request with any needs, including but not limited to assistance at check in, assistance with our complimentary continental breakfast, assistance with laundry and access to or re-designation of an approved smoking area.
About The Accessible Guest Rooms
We have two designated accessible guest rooms.
Each room offers two queen beds and sitting area with sofa bed.
Each room has a mini wet bar with mini fridge. The counter height is 36”.
Each room has a private seating patio. There are two 1” step downs which are part of the sliding glass door bottom threshold to access the patio.
Draperies have extended rod for easy maneuverability.
Air conditioning controls are accessible.
Ceiling fans are operated from accessible wall switch.
ADA approved photoelectric smoke alarm, door knocker light and phone flasher are available upon request.
The bathroom doorway is 35” wide.
The bathtub side is 13” from floor to top. The bathtub is equipped with two 47” railings on the side wall and one 14” rail at the tub controls. An ADA approved tub chair is available upon request.
The commode is 21” from floor to top. There is a 32” support rail on the back wall of the commode. There is no side wall by the commode.
We are currently in the planning stage of making our accessible rooms compliant to the current ADA codes.
